EBX day is here. We’ve readied everything, or mostly everything. We’ve got orders!! More than I’ve expected! Really excited! Because of the orders, we’ve decided to increase our output to meet the demands! Sushi has been increased to another thirty sets! Orders so far have already been around twenty. There will be about fifty plus sets for on-stall sell. Beverage side, we have various drinks for our customers! Cheap too!! Haha... Eh, very excited lei.. crazy liao me.. hmmm.. Its tiring.. Gonna be fun though. If everything goes right, we’ll be making about more than seventy percent profit! Wahaha....!! And our
group is the one using the least modal in starting our business!

12am- 5.30am
We worked well as a team. Everyone was tired that day but they still showed positive spirit, not letting up. Some went ‘crazy’ from the day’s lack of sleep while others just seems like nothing happened and is still ever so awake. We cooked the day before, making our sushi, the sauces for toppings and some trial pancake and
French toast. We even had the girls coming over to Louis’ apartment to help us cook and prepare all the stuffs needed for the next day. We didn’t sleep throughout the night.
All we did was work and prepare! Haha.. Kinda fun although it really sucked everything out of me.. We had 3 girls coming over to help out with 6 other guys too.
Two of them girls gradually took my place in doing the pancake and French toast and also the making of the sauces...
.... while another one did more on the sushi department and decorating our menu that would, during that day, be posted up at our stall, with Louis.
They really did a fantastic job in doing the decoration part. Ain’t it colourful? Splendid job to both of you!
Sushi part... Well, all thanks to Aaron for making his first and prettiest sushi at the time.
We had all our sushi follow his style and our sushi sold out like hot cakes man! Matthew did a great job in keeping the rice cooked and ready for our use. He’s our rice cooker-man. Haha..
Our sandwiches... Well, Hui Yik managed everything by herself and perhaps, I guess, also with help from her worker(s). She did nice sandwiches lei..Our sandwiches sold out faster than our neighboring stalls! Don’t know why, but, haha.. pretty gua..
Nice packing also perhaps.
And then we have our two guys major in sorting out orders, Ing Kuo
and Kim Loong.

I am not quite sure what they did but they seemed to have worked something out and the orders going out the next day ran smoothly.
And we have the beverage section which I really have the least idea in what they planned and do. Again, whatever they did, they’ve done it well and all a thumbs up is all that I could say.

After 5.30am
We bathed and got ourselves ready and also the things to be carried to the site and everything went into Aaron’s car. (luckily that day he got drive a!!..) I told the others to meet at the site at 6am but by the time we cleaned up and carried all the things, it was already pass 6.30 am.
We laid out our things A.S.A.P as we arrived and at first, it was kinda messy and disorientated,
Ing Kuo and Kim Loong managing our orders...
...but soon after, everything got more settled down and we started to fry our French fries and started our pancake.
Beverage section went well all the way. Very good indeed!! Nice job everybody!! A splendid one indeed!
We were very ‘lucky’! Our power source got overload and melted! Everything went hair wired that time for we couldn’t made our pancake for our orders! Other groups also thought it would be the end. So we switched plans and took all the cooking thingys back to Louis’ apartment and I started to cook there and luckily, before 10.30, I was able to finish the orders and the time was just right for delivery. And only when you think nothing else could get any worse, two college staffs went to Louis’ apartment telling us to stop our cooking for, well, actually we’re not suppose to cook in our college. Hehe.. So we had to keep everything and switched to another plan that is only to sell our beverage for the whole afternoon. Then Ngai Teng came up with the idea of making...
Plan B under work...
...egg sandwiches for sell to use up the 5 loaves of bread (bought from WILSON DELI..p/s;Hui Yik, I’m promoting lei..you know what to do la ho? Commission lei..haha..kiddin) originally was meant for the French toast. We did that and we also made the sushi live at our stall for sell. It was a success! Our electric supply didn’t come back until it was about 1pm.
With electricity back, we quickly continued frying the French fries and making my pancake. I didn’t know people like pancake more than French toast.

Seems funny, but who cares? Pancake's profit has higher percentage what... haha..
We even had our lecturer stop by our stall and bought a few things from us, which, I think is our success because she didn't stopped at other groups' stall, buying their products!!haha..
And also A European too..or at least looks like one..perhaps Caucasian, buying our pancake, drinks.. A student i presume..International student perhaps..
Our group mates did a little marketing too that day, selling whatever they took 'to the roads', coming back to the stall empty in tray, but loaded in hand..
So it was all smooth sailing until, again, overload happened and this time, it didn’t really bothered me anymore because at that time, the sky seemed moody and really, soon after, it started to rain cats and dogs, all of a sudden! Everything got wet. Our leftover rice, butter, etc got wet a little if not alot. That time was about 3pm already and everything seemed to have stopped for a while during the downpour. After the short shower, it was already about 4 pm and we were already starting to auction our products. Everything got sold out, everything, including our drinks and everything was truly a success! Haha...
~~
So... Our business day has passed.. We made a decent profit, although kind of little, but it’s better than making a loss...... right???
