Can Christians be an organ donor?

This is specially for Sotong Loon's curiousity.

Sotong Loon ever blogged about organ donating and touched on the matter on Christians and donating organ.

In all the 66 books in the Bible, there is not a single sentence or verse insight that stops a Christian from donating their organs.

God did not forbid it because He would not be resurrecting the same physical body of the deceased, thus does not need a complete body when one is buried to have the hope of resurrection.

1 Corinthians 15:35-44 –

35 Nevertheless, someone will say: “How are the dead to be raised up? Yes, with what sort of body are they coming?” 36 You unreasonable person! What you sow is not made alive unless first it dies; 37 and as for what you sow, you sow, not the body that will develop, but a bare grain, it may be, of wheat or any one of the rest; 38 but God gives it a body just as it has pleased him, and to each of the seeds its own body. 39 Not all flesh is the same flesh, but there is one of mankind, and there is another flesh of cattle, and another flesh of birds, and another of fish. 40 And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies; but the glory of the heavenly bodies is one sort, and that of the earthly bodies is a different sort. 41 The glory of the sun is one sort, and the glory of the moon is another, and the glory of the stars is another; in fact, star differs from star in glory.42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised up in incorruption. 43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised up in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised up in power. 44 It is sown a physical body, it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one

Those who are resurrected to life on earth would not have the same body they had when they lived before. That body might be decayed and return back to the ground with its elements becoming a part of other living things. So Jehovah resurrects not the same physical body but the same person that died. Of course, this new physical body will no doubt be similar to the one before the person died so that he will be recognized by those who knew him.

So we can see that there is no such thing as a Christian needing a complete body when they are buried to be able to have the resurrection hope. Some other thing is needed..

Of course. Anyone can be an organ donor. But you must own an organ first. I mean, not everyone owns an organ. Organs are very expensive. Like piano, saxophone, but saxophone quite small la.. Organ very big one..
